Star Garden was an ambitious NFT game envisioning a community-built fantasy world of tribe battles and creature collecting. I led the UI/UX design, web design, and brand and identity design (for both in-game world building as well as the client's company branding) crafting an experience as immersive and expansive as the world it was built around.

Web Designer & User Game Flow

Designing the Star Garden website meant starting from scratch — 1 visual asset, no established direction, just an idea. I developed multiple visual directions for the client as the concept evolved, ultimately crafting a web presence that gave the game's rich fantasy world its first real visual identity. I also interpreted and adapted all designs for mobile, ensuring a seamless experience across devices.

  1. From Concept to Design

As the project matured and a clearer vision began to take shape, I dove deep into competitor research and genre references to inform a cohesive design direction. From there I owned the full web game presence end to end — user flows, graphics, color scheme, and overall UI/UX — building out the look, feel, and world of Star Garden from the ground up.

  1. The Web Game Experience

The site became more than a marketing page — it was the first chapter of the game itself, where players could purchase their Star Garden NFT, configure their gameplay, and begin building their world ahead of launch.

  1. In-Game Assets

With little more than adjectives and rough ideas to start from, I dove into a deep research sprint — pulling from historical symbols, pagan iconography, Roman motifs, and visual languages spanning cultures and time periods. The result was a comprehensive symbol system for Star Garden: 20 domain symbols with a 5-tier rarity system (Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Cosmic), 31 class title symbols, and 3 distinct multi-tiered player badge icons (Decoders, Engagers, and Champions) unlockable through in-game and on-site interactions. Everything was rooted in research but brought to life through creative interpretation.

  1. Logo Design

I designed logos for all three layers of the project — Arrivant, Project Eluüne, and Star Garden — each with its own distinct identity, but with a shared visual sensibility that kept the connected pieces feeling like part of the same universe.
