Thug Life was one of the highest-grossing Facebook Instant Games ever launched, hitting a $150M gross annual run rate — and I was part of the team behind it, designing user flows for key game events and features while creating assets throughout the experience.

User Game Flow & Asset Creation


Working in a highly agile environment, I mapped each game feature and event as high-fidelity user flows — a dual-purpose approach that gave producers a clear visual reference, guided developers through implementation, and allowed final assets to be produced in parallel.

The popularity of Thug Life is largely due to its emphasis on social interaction among players, which significantly enhances the game's appeal. The designs we implemented feature vibrant color schemes and incorporate Thug Life's distinctive themes, all aimed at increasing user engagement.
